The following are sample excerpts from my daily log of work activities, which I kept throughout the summer. It is by no means representative of my entire internship. Important events, milestones, or other meaningful log entries were included while other's were not, therefore many days are missing.

Wednesday, August 7

Last day of internship.

Uploaded most recent builds, including all fixes to Telecomm and Facilities.

Created documentation for contact and some particular information for each app for other employees to use while gone.

Sent off latest SQL build to Kip.

Talking about getting together with some employees after my vacation.

Sent off a thank you note/email to AOT employees.

Had a meeting with head of Resource and Facilities Management (RFM) at Edmund Halley office.

Tuesday, July 31

Started development of Telecommunications Web application, which is going to be very similar to the Facilities Web application.

Tuesday, July 30

Had a meeting with head of Resource and Facilities Management (RFM) at Edmund Halley office.

Wednesday, July 23

Moved Facilities Web application to testing environment.

Fixed a few errors in terms of logging and permission sets working properly.

Added Web.config entry to reflect new database connection string.

Added .38 SQL build script to aotPersonnel database.

Wednesday, July 18

Applied latest db changes to Facilities Web application and fixed a few misc. errors.

Monday, July 16

Coded for 10 straight hours. A very long day. Created over four completetly functional pages using new UI design.

Monday, July 8

Completed and implemented design of new UI for Facilities Web.

Friday, June 14

Had requirements/flow layout meeting with Kip, Margi, and Elissa. Meeting lasted over two hours but was very helpful to narrow down requirements for Facilities Web application.

Thursday, May 30

Talked to HR rep. concerning incorrect tax information on pay stub.

Started new build of application...no more testing around with .NET.

Top
