Section 1.2
The job search was much less strenuous for me then it was, I'm sure, for other
prospective interns. I heard about the possible internship opening from a
former boss. I was informed that Fairfield Language Technologies, a
child-company of Rosetta Stone (a language-learning software company), might
have an opening for a CS intern. Upon inquiring, I found out that they had
openings not only in programming in Java, but also coding in ActionScript
(Macromedia Flash's scripting language) in their Interactive Media Department.
This opportunity make it much more worthwhile to me, as I did not want to only
program in Java for the entire summer.
