What is Road Runner?

• Road Runner is a company founded in 1995 that offers high-speed internet solutions to cable providers and their customers (both residential and commercial).

• Road Runner is owned in full by Time Warner Cable.

Where is Road Runner?

• The headquarters for Road Runner is based in Herndon, VA (where I worked), also home to AOL and Network Solutions, making it a great place for a person interested in IT to begin their career.

• There are 54 field offices around the US in urban and suburban areas.

• All in all, the company employs over 400 people with varying backgrounds and educations.

Road Runner is a blast, the people are great, the pay is good, and the atmosphere is even better (jeans and t-shirt are acceptable). A nice building, free coffee, free snacks/drinks, paid training, relaxed hours (I worked typical hours, but as long as the work is done you can work any hours you please), regular lunch "meetings" and various other perks keep me heading back.
