Section 5 - Internship Value

My internship at KPMG was an exciting and educational experience. KPMG treats its interns the same way they treat new full-time employees, so I got to experience exactly what it would be like working as a full-time employee.

This is my workspace in the KPMG office. KPMG uses hoteling, so I reserve my desk when I know I will be in the office.

The most important thing that I learned from the internship is how to interact with other people. I met a lot of people during the summer and I learned the importance of good communication techniques in the business world.

I highly recommend an internship with KPMG because you get great work experience and, as a bonus, there are tons of incredibly fun intern events. Some of the events were an Orioles baseball game, tubing in West Virginia, bowling, and a dinner cruise on the Potomac River.
