Getting the job is usually the hardest part of the internship process. Fortunately, it was very easy for me to land my internship. I planned ahead and did most of the steps to land my internship before I wanted to get an internship. I created my resume and kept it up to date and was continuously looking for internship opportunities.

           At first I created my resume using a Microsoft Word template. I created this resume in order to place it on Monster.com. When I was at that website, I noticed that they had a resume builder. You had to type in the appropriate information and it created a resume for you. For the most part I liked the format of this resume better. It had a place to list your skills, the skill level of each, and how long have you been using this skill. It seemed like it was a good addition that future employers would like to see on a resume.
